A sheikh from the UAE wanted to power an off-grid villa with solar panels and store excess energy cost-effectively in batteries. To achieve this, a battery storage system was installed inside a 20Ft cooled container, equipped with 250 kWh of second-life batteries.
Additionally, a solar energy system was installed and connected to the battery storage system. This setup consists of 180 Sharp solar panels. Finally, 6 Victron Quattro 15 kVA units were installed to generate a three-phase 440 VAC output of 90 kVA.
Solartechno was the supplier of the entire project, starting with initial discussions and concept development with the client. The project was completed with the commissioning of the system and training of local technicians on-site near Dubai.
